Bought these on the last FP deal a few weeks ago, which were apparently all sales final (or so their site told me when I input my order number for an exchange/return), so buyer beware.

Despite being labeled stretch, they don't stretch at all, and fit small so buy at least 1" size up. 30" American Eagle stretch shorts fall off of me, but 30" in these barely button.

I have all colors of these comfortable shorts I use all year round. Fits my 32" non-beer belly waist perfectly.

I also found Volcom Stone shorts were unusually small and had to order one size up from all of the other clothes shorts I own.

What's the inseem? These shorts seem longer than I would like.

Look at the stretch woven shorts from 32 Degrees. They have 7 inch and 9 inch options. They're a 1/3 of the price at $9.99 and $12.99. I previously was buying Quicksilver shorts similar to these. To my surprise, the 32 Degrees versions are every bit as good.

Agreed, they're nice but they don't stretch and run a bit small. They still fit me, but they're smaller than most of the other 34s I have.

I'm considering ordering a couple of pairs a size up, not because these people say they "run small" but because I know I got fatter since I ordered my last set of them. lol I like these shorts a lot and just had a pair get snagged while traveling, so I guess its a good time to replace them.

My 31s are pretty true to size but I agree, they don't stretch. The fabric might be stretchier but there is no elastic waistband or and give in the waist at all.

They run small AF
If you need 36" get 38."
They might even be a little tight but 40" will be a little big and a belt is needed
