It's all made by Warren Distribution. They make Kirkland, Super Tech, Amazon, and many other private label brands. It's good stuff.

Why would you ever need to do an emergency oil change?

Good stuff. I have two older Fords that use the same weights. One takes 4qts, one takes 6. Two full syn oil changes for~$40 with the filters keeps them ticking

Agreed. No way you are getting full synthetic oil for $1/qt.

I'm thinking about switching to Kirkland from all the great reports I've seen. I have a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 0w-20 that I need an additional 3 quarts for, and rather than mix with this, I think I'll just get this set next week and store the Mobil 1. I can't get another single 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 for less than $31 with tax at Walmart, so it may be time to switch over.
What issue would mixing two different brands of 0w20 synthetic oils cause (assuming they both meet your cars specs)?

For $20 that's a steal, so long as it's a shop that actually performs an inspection and not one that puts the lowest person on the totem pole on the job who knows not what to look at.
You are expecting a Pro Mechanic with say 20 years of experience to be changing your oil for $20? Are you kidding me? 🤣

I'm not sure what your point is. Are you repeating the obvious point I made?

Jack stand - singular. I only need to jack it up enough to be able to reach under and open the drain pan Fumoto valve. The jack stand is for safety only. I doubt it's even necessary, since the tire stays on.
I too have fumoto on both of my cars. I can now change the oil without climbing under on both cars so no need for jackstands.

So give me an SD on a fumoto valve 'cuz $30+ bucks too much.
I paid retail for it. You practically made your money back on the first oil change.

Just one Jack stand and it's likely not needed. On my Legacy I cannot reach the Fumoto valve without jacking up one side.
