I've only heard word of mouth but it's definitely blowing up fast. I think it's because it's really accessible. Round ball went through a similar boom.

What's the difference between indoor and outdoor balls? Can I not use the indoor ones on our community tennis court?

Try one with carbon fiber rather than plain fiberglass. At least graphite.
