I thought Greenworks had a 4 year battery warranty?

My bad! I didn't realize you meant Costco adds 4 extra years of warranty on Greenworks batteries! That makes this an even sweeter deal!

I bought one of these for $133 from Amazon as a Black Friday deal. This deal is on-par with that price, and the warranty sweetens the deal.

I think the 4.0 Ah makes the leaf blower a bit unwieldy and back-heavy. But still useful when you've got a lot of leaves to blow.

Some with larger yards will appreciate these with the mower. And if you've got the snowblower, you'll REALLY appreciate these big boys.

I didn't realize you get an 8 year warranty with Costco! I'm in the market for a new mower, but dismissed electric because I don't want to have to spend 3-400 every couple years on batteries. But this gives me something to think about now.

You can "cut" the housing to fit Kobalt tools. That's what I did with mine, and it works great with my Kobalt mower. Someone posted a link to the instructions on how to do it here above.

Yes but if you want the warranty, you will need to modify the tool itself....

I use my tools every week during the summer months here in New Jersey to take care of my lawn (mower, weed-wacker, leaf blower, edge trimmer). I go through all four my batteries every week. I've had them for 4 years now, and only one was not holding its charge for too long, the other ones are still going strong. Unless you get a bad unit, you can easily get 5 years out of them.

I read through the Warranty T&C. At what point a battery will be replaced? Is there a charge threshold? Any info on how this warranty works?
