Are you sure it's a TN panel? Best Buy specs say it's an IPS but I realize they could be wrong.

I was actually disappointed to see.. especially if this is going to be the new direction newer acer laptops are going in (pure speculation here ) .. that there is no included hard drive bay for a secondary hard drive and no slot to stick an additional stick of ram in Frown ... unlike the previous acer laptop editions I mean.. here's a video link or two

On the other hand $350 is a pretty low price so .. you get what you pay for ? Was all excited until I saw the lack of upgrade options Frown .. for what it's worth you can swap it out to a bigger m.2 drive, size limit of which escapes me off the top of my head

But I don't think you'll find a 12th- or 13th-gen Core i5 at this price.

They rebranded old CPUs like this to make them easier to sell, esp. as the Zen 4 parts are in very short supply.

The deception is really bad in this case, as this 7520U is not a "real" Ryzen 5. Ryzen 5 mobile CPUs since the 4000 generation have all had 6 or more cores, this one only has 4. It's in reality a rebranded Ryzen 3 5300U:

What the hype is all about? This "new Ryzen 5" is not even close to a Core i3-1215U…
8GB LPDDR5 means not upgradable, and it's being shared with the AMD GPU
Though nice to have touchscreen and USB-C charging

$300 at max!
