Can anyone comment on buying refurb laptops on ebay? I had a great experience with a refurb cell phone. But I'm guessing it's highly variable.

FYI I bought one of these when they were $439 and it is super premium. I love it. BUT, I can't get the thunderbolt recognized using an Egpu. Apparently Lenovo has a history of faulty thunderbolt controllers, or bad driver support. So I'm still working with Intel and Lenovo to try and fix. But if you plan on using thunderbolt here, be wary.

FYI, this machine ships with a Gen 3 nvme but I can confirm it supports Gen 4 nvme. Only 1 2280 slot inside
