Contacted the seller and they were very dismissive. Just said to issue eBay Return. The item weighs almost 100lbs in packaging. They want me to load into my car, drive to a UPS, unload from my car, take my hand truck to get into UPS store for what? A refund of what I paid?
They know 100% they never inspected the item, sent an item that did NOT match their description and was NOT refurbished but instead USED (and / or returned after used and never inspected). This seller should not be trusted and buy definitely at your own risk
I do not think all of the effort to return is anywhere worth us being EVEN. And the seller knows this too which is why they DARE you to do the return process

It's kind of weird... the receptacle on the smaller Firman 1600/2000W is L14-30R. Not sure why they decided to put RV-style TT-30R on these

I believe this should do the trick. 50 amp it appears, but that shouldn't hurt. With the adapter cost factored in, takes it back to the original $70ish cost of the cable though.

There are tons of results on amazon too, example above is but one of many choices.

After running it for 10m+, it's still sputtering a lot on Economy mode, and doesn't seem to want to put out more than ~600W to recharge my Ecoflow Delta 2 - even when it's not on economy mode. It's also making some annoying 'popping' sounds with some load.
The hour meter on it was completely reset too, and the residual oil left in it was pretty dark. Date of manufacture = early 2019.

...it's just not the right adapter, to use with the L14-30P cable from Costco [costco.com]. It is for 14-50R which is not the same thing. The L denotes "Locking".
They do have some oil inside, but not enough, you have to add more. Purchased 4 generators in my life, and none came with oil or funnel ,
Everything else is extra $$$

Another thing,, this one is bridged.
At any rate - having an inverter/battery setup you can occasionally top off with a generator is the way to go, IMO. It got me through my recent 2+ day outage, and while my neighbors' generators never stopped... it was nice to not have to have mine running overnight.
Also - why is this marked expired now? It's still in stock and this coupon is still active...

Do they pay return shipping if you RMA? If so, Id probably refund or exchange it while I could. Out of curiosity, Id still test a resistive load for my own peace of mind to make sure something with your ecoflow isnt causing an incompatibility with the BMS and the generator. I assume your ecoflow charges above 600W when plugged into house mains?
Too bad they reset the hour meter at the factory. I dont think I would have bought one if I knew they were so desperate to deceive the customer with such shabby tactics. Its like resetting the odometer on a used car to screw over the next victim.

https://i.imgur.com/ceD7X21.mp4 audio/video of it in action - unit looks and is in pretty good overall shape, but some of the stickers on the top were yellowed by the sun (and/or heat). Pretty sure the hour meter was blank too as if reset - I don't think it even showed a 0.
Initially I'd started out charging my EF Delta 2 at 200W, which went ok, and 400W, neither really kicked it up above eco idle. 600W is where it output started cutting pretty much right away. Yes, I also tried this WITHOUT eco mode - similar behavior.
I did get the Delta 2 to charge at approximately its max 1200W for a bit, but didn't maintain it because it was getting late There may be hope.. but I've got the dual fuel 3200/400W unit coming.
