Where does it currently say anything about the $30 promo? I tried to make this happen a couple of years ago, but they only recently (last two months) made Key deliveries available in my neighborhood.
We're sorry, the Amazon Key $30 promotion is no longer available as it expired on Thursday, April 21, 2022. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

This is routinely sub $20 every year around Black Friday, so hold off. I have the older version and it's the worst smart home tech in my house - constant low battery messages from my two door sensors, app routinely disappoints failing to open or close the doors. It's fairly reliable opening, but fails to close on both doors - even after the hub emits its closing warning beeps - then nothing. Worthless if you're 100 miles from home and trying to open and close the door for a neighbor, delivery person, etc.
The only saving grace for me is integrating it in to Home Assistant - at least I can automate the garage interior lights to tun on when the doors are opened from the remotes in our cars - the garage lights are on a TP-Link Kasa smart on/off switch and Home Assistant can create automations across both the Kasa devices and Chamberlain hub.
I thought about trying this newer version, but I'm planning to replace the garage doors and openers and will opt for openers with factory smarts.
FYI if they do go on sale around BF, note that it's cheaper to buy two (or more) of these kits to get additional sensors if you have more than one garage door than it is to just buy additional standalone add-on sensors.
FP from previous deal at $17 from last BF - read the thread of 155 comments if you want some insight into how frustrating this thing is:
Had no end of trouble trying to get one of these set up -- no matter what I tried, it wouldn't play nice with mesh network and kept trying to connect to access points that were further away.
Got a WYZE opener and it works far, far better.
No need for batteries, since the camera just detects the position of a QR code sticker on the door to tell whether or not it's open.
Lets you see what's in the garage instead of having to guess
