I have the half inch to walk, that does not have the whole green and it's amazing... I have the three quarter inch DeWalt that has a whole green and I do not like it. That one's a good one for a lot more applications for me than they have inch... But that Hall green is a pain. Just doesn't make any sense how much of a pain it really is. But does it work and get the job done and will you use it if you buy this deal.. of course. Don't let that hold you back but if you do know how they both work, the detent pin is so much better

Only gripe I have is that hog rings suck if you do any type of professional wrenching. The sockets don't hold and can even fly off if the angle is just wrong. Detent pin is way better even if slightly annoying to switch socketa frequently

If you're doing professional work, you're gonna benefit from being able to switch out sockets without another tool to push in the detent pin. I have an 894 with the detent pin, and I absolutely despise it (even filed down the detent like many suggested, and it's still a major pita to change sockets)... Detent pins are for steel workers who could seriously injure someone if their socket falls. Not for people working in a garage. I have an 891 hog ring I've been using for over 6 months and never had a socket fly off.

Honestly the old 894 has been easily enough for all the suspension work I've done. Still getting this to be sure I'm never caught without enough power.
There were a handful of bolts the 894 couldn't get, but I have an 899 which did the job. I sold the 894 when the 921 came out because it does pretty much everything the 894 does in half the package. Tempted to sell my 899 for this honestly, doubt I really need the last few hundred ft lbs, and it's an excuse to buy a 900 or 961 or whatever the insanity model is bolt breaker some day.

Even though this is marked as Expired, with a quick search you can find the deal for $175.00 from a 3rd party seller. I tried to post it up, but apparently it didn't meet the Amazon 3rd party rules...
