From my point of view, here's what this one has going for it:
8 GB is hard to come by in a Chromebook - I run lots of tabs AND crouton with full Linux on a 4GB MT8183 and do have occasional issues. And 8 GB would be a bare minimum for Windows anyway.
Ryzen 7320C is way better than MT8183C in benchmarks, and way way better than any Celeron (in my personal opinion, but I'm sure there's room for discussion on that but please, no flames)
2-in-1 for this price is a good deal
14" FHD screen is a good deal - many 2-in-1's only come with 11".
Who really needs Windows these days? I run OpenOffice in Linux, and MS Office online is free w/ educational account anyway if you need it.
Probably doesn't need 128GB for most people, but whatever.
Only thing I'd like to see is a back-lit keyboard, but not a deal breaker since it is a 2-in-1.

The Ryzen 3 7320c is about 65% faster than the n6000 you'd find in a lot of the cheaper intel chromebooks.
It's actually faster than an i7 6700
4c/8t with a 4.1 Ghz boost, it's an incredible 15w CPU

It truly is. It is more expensive though. But it goes on sale occasionally. But currently the 714 is 699 at best which is significantly more than this. If you can catch it on sale, it's a great deal.

but it probably isn't worse than the atom based chromebooks.
