I have 3 of these. One is in full time use. The first one developed the double click issue. Logitech replaced it for free. While waiting on that one to arrive I bought another at the mart of walls. The second two have not developed the issue. Upgraded my main rig to a G502x Plus since then though.

Mine did also. When digging deeper, I found the reason is essentially Logitech uses the absolute cheapest switches. There are alternative switches that solve the issue that cost pennies more and they choose to use these instead.

Not sure if it's true but 2 years ago when I bought this mouse I heard that these mouses made after a certain manufacturing date had a long lifespan. Been 2 years and 2 months since, no problems with the infamous double clicking. Play games that involve a lot of clicking. YMMV but my G502 wireless still going strong.
