I had meant SD but CVS also is sometimes seeming like they want to drive us away.

My card has been zombied for over a year now, I think it has changed CRTs maybe three times? But I used to get some that didn't have a spend amount, just $3 off Hallmark, or $1 off CVs bottled water. Now most of them have a high spend amount, like $6/$30 Colgate so i very rarely can use them.
I think there are some things that are posted here that are skipped over, based on the lack of discussion/response to some of the things I've seen posted here or posted myself.
Many people are super unappreciative. There's more than one person active in the CVS threads who has messaged me many times asking questions about deals, how coupons work, etc. I don't think they have EVER repped me, and seldom do they ever even say thank you. That sure does turn me off to offer help, even though I stupidly keep doing so.
The 400 stores that have the two week ad & the crummy CRTs we're all trying to work with play into it. And the differing availability and usage of manufacturer coupons, digital coupons and rebate programs makes the experience different for us all.
I don't watch the YT videos, so I can't speak to what they're doing or not doing.
And just as a point of reference, look at the Rite Aid and WG threads here. WG has been one thread for everything for the last two years now. Divide out the 2905 (as of this moment) comments there by 24 months and that's an average of 121 posts a month. According to you, Rite Aid has awesome deals, but if you go back and look at the Rite Aid threads, there have been less than 25 posts in most weeks.
Sadly, what I don't think the powers that be at SD realize, much of what is happening here is hanging on by a thread. It's only time before we'll know if the change from classic to redesign will lead the few of us that are here away - whether that's to somewhere else, or to just do our own thing.
Is it getting tougher, definitely. I spend way too much time looking for deals. I spend more time at erica's site as for a while the pictures of their haul or clearance items really helped. Hate the discus format. I am fortunate that at the moment I can still use old format here.
I do find the folks still here are the kindest folks. Many of the snarky ones have moved elsewhere.
IG'ers make sooo many mistakes they are a last resort. A few YTers are good sources of info but watching instead of reading a nice list takes too much time.
We adapt if we want to stay playing this game. At least for me, it is a game.I know some here it makes a difference in their lifestyles. We all go through the ups and downs with our finances as life shoves us around.
I do want to thank those I cannot rep cuz I haven't spread things around enough mainly cuz it takes so long to get enough variety anymore too.
Just my two cents worth tonight. I probably could share more here but some of you hang elsewhere too and time to do so doesn't always present itself. It really is the thrill of the hunt and mostly the highs outnumber the lows still so I'll keep playing at least for a little while.

I went over my paperwork this evening and I realized that I had a $10 ecb expiring today on 2 cards so I ran over to CVS and did the Crest deal and I was in & out in less than 5 minutes. If I had the expiring ecb's on my non-digital cards I'd still be there trying to figure out what to buy. The only reason that I was using the non-digital cards was for Covergirl and Tide. I'd use the Covergirl mm to get Tide for free and it was great while it lasted. There was also magic on my non-digital cards that started early in the year and continued until 2 weeks ago. If I used YT math my Covergirl deals were $30 mm's lol. Now it makes no sense to have non-digital cards.
I'm not happy with the CEO. She wants to turn CVS into an insurance company rather than a retail store. It's her right to do that but she won't make very many friends especially with the people who have been loyal CVS shoppers since they opened out here.

I don't understand the lack of interest in the RA thread. Next week we're getting a 15/50 Bonus Cash coupon in addition to the 13/50 cat that printed today. That's a $28 savings on a $50 order before you start filling your cart with items. Listerine is 6/12 with a limit of 2 (and $1.50 Listerine cats have been printing for the last 2 weeks). There's also a 10/30 P&G deal. I mean, how much better does it have to be? Actually, I'll answer that. You've got the Bonus Cash Challenge (which can be substantial), $2 for every 1000 points earned, and any rebates that you might get. On the last round of BCC's, I was getting paid $10 for visiting the store twice over a 2 month period. BCC's on some items can be $20. That $2 for the points can really add up. My cards always have $2 more on them than I think they do. Bonus Cash pays sales tax so no oop transactions are a reality. You only have to use the amount of Bonus Cash that you want to spend. You don't need fillers unless you're short of a threshold. At CVS, if you have a $5 ecb you have to spend the whole amount otherwise you lose what you don't spend. That's a huge difference. I waste so much time at CVS looking for fillers.

I wish there was an option to see in store price online. Deals seem to fall apart these days with all the price hikes in store vs online prices. El vive was 5.99
I do watch one IG/youtuber (crazydealsandsteals) and check IG cuz often someone will post a deal i missed or unadvertised deal. I do spend time to do my homework obviously before going to the store. I don't post deals as much here cuz like momma, it bothers me when people are unappreciative. Not that i need a "thanks" or a rep but at least i see that my post helped, otherwise, what's the point of even posting.
Ps, wags has a really nice deal on charmin and scott this week. I had some leftover cash from buying 90% summer so i didn't have much oop
