I must have had a bum unit - my top rusted up from the corners as well. Was covered for the first year, then the cheapo cover I had bought from Amazon bit the dust and I let it go uncovered for the next two years, where the rust set in.
Good price. Good reviews. I wonder how it will hold up though and if the metal top will rust.
had this for over 3 years now. Lives under 6 months of snow, no rust to speak of at all. I don't have it under cover in the summer sprinkles and sun are always attacking it. Plastic held up well same with wheels, although I don't move mine around much. Only thing that deformed was the handle for the paper towel holder as it's my overflow utensil holder and it's over loaded with heavy items, so it developed a bit of a bow but still stays in place without popping out. Doors are plastic so don't expect a smoth closing. They are water and bug tigh though. Top has no dents or dings and I don't slam or drop heavy items on it, do move steel items across it all the time, so it will scratch it the item is sharp enough, it will also dent if you slam your fist on it. Hate to say it but for some people it seems like it needs to be explained. It's a good quality steel top that is suspended in the air it's not a butcher block though and it won't hold up against your anger issues.
I've owned this for years, Michigan resident (so like, 8 months of snow). It looks almost new still. I keep it under a cover you'd use for one of those big wide grills.
I've had one for several years now. Gets spots on it that look like rust but it always cleans up each time.
I just bought one new a little over two months ago and just noticed what appears to be rust spots. I tried scrubbing with stainless steel cleaner and they faded a bit but I'm still pretty disappointed with how it looks. What do you clean yours with to get rid of them?
Yeah, you kinda need a cover for this. The top does get stains/rust a bit. Nothing a bit of Barkeeper's friend won't fix. This is a great deal. I've had mine for like 5 years.

I've had one for about four years and it's held up remarkably well. I don't cover it and it stays out in the Washington State weather year round.
I went and picked up the only one I saw for $75! Haven't had a chance to put it together but excited to get it together.
