Less power but better room correction (which is more likely to matter) than the popular Denon 970 for 400 deal.

If it's new stock I doubt you are getting something 2.5 years old and you get free returns from Amazon in any case. Shouldn't' need it though.

Looks like the vendor is Denon store shipped and sold by Amazon so yeah you should be good for all your advanced gaming needs. S/N is on the outside of the box though so just confirm it has the fix before you open it. Denon chat and AVS forum are a couple places to try for the prefix number. I don't know it off hand.

Here you go,

https://hub.yamaha.com/audio/musi...l-volumes/

Effectively similar to the deprecated Fletcher Munson curve which is replaced by ISO 226. It's pretty reasonable to assume everyone is using ISO 226 for perceptual loudness flatness at different volume levels.

I don't think there is any evidence dynamic EQ is any more magical than the other vendors' implementations.

No, I'm not going to prove it with REW measurements.

Is there any concern about the hdmi 2.2 bug that was happening in 2020/21?

Not with new manufactured units which these presumably are at this point. Can check via serial number.

And you do believe this is a better deal even though it's roughly 20% more that the s907h?

It's a higher level unit with likely better SQ due to the better room correction yes. The slight difference in power is basically negligible.

What speakers are you running?

I need a new AVR for my Dali Sensor 5.1. I used this system for movie,Tv and music ( no games). I was previously using denon x2200w. I don't want multiple zone. Should I buy this or other denon avr on deals at the moment. I am noob and don't know about the subject.

With 89dB sensitivity for the RC263's crossed with powered subs you should be fine unless you are trying to drive them at ear splitting levels in a large room.

Seems like this or the 970 would work for you. I'd get the better room correction over the slightly more power... which probably amounts to a dB or so at the highest limit.

Is the x2800h for $600 worth it over this? Only about $120 difference.
