The solution is usually to go to whey protein isolate. This is generally the easiest stuff on your stomach, and cuts out all the lactose + other stuff in normal. Whey that tends to upset stomachs

I think you have your facts wrong here. The concern with dog food is the dogs need the grains and what they have found is grain free diet is showing issues with heart for dogs. Dogs need the grains or a well balanced diet. Sure they are subbing peas and Sweet potatoes but Dogs aren't humans. Seems to be an issue in certain breeds also not all dogs.

Secondly Impossible burger is greatly processed
The Impossible Burger is made from soy protein concentrate, coconut oil, sunflower oil, potato protein, methylcellulose, yeast extract, salt, gums, and water and additives, including vitamin B12, zinc, vitamin B6, thiamin (B1) and niacin. The ingredient that gives an Impossible Burger the taste of meat is heme.

None of your comments apply to pea protein or this product.

I've never been turned off by the flavor of pea protein but this is unflavored so if you're not using this in smoothies or waffles I'd probably skip it.

Interesting. Looking for a sub for Whey since it's been giving me excessive gas. Will try it out and mix something into it based on the comments on taste...

Amazing price I'd say. Also, %45 RDA iron in each scoop. (2 scoops/day shouldn't be an issue with iron for most people)

That's the RDA for premenopausal women. (that's the one listed on food labels)

1 scoop is 100% the rda for men (you can easily Google the rda for iron for men, it's 8mg which this has)

This is a TON of iron for men. If you're a woman it's probably a good thing, If you're a man, there's definitely better options

Thanks OP. I usually buy Naked Pea, but will try this. Not sure why the sodium is so high on this brand. Almost 3 times what Naked Pea is for similar servings.

Do Not Buy!! I bought a bunch of this stuff (different brand). It's one of the most awful things I've ever tasted. If you can imagine something that tastes like a terrible version of chalk, that's what this tastes like (and that's after mixing with chocolate syrup). I really think the only way to use this is stuff is to bake/cook with it, because it was just awful and unfortunately there isn't much information on how to make it taste better.

My sister-in-law is a vet. FWIW, pea proteins in grain free dog food is the current concern about heart issues. Plants are great and important for a healthy diet. Trying to make them something nature never intended (impossible meat) is not healthy.
