90 days from purchase date. Scroll down to the Terms & Conditions tab. Yeah, who reads that, right?

I have a different RP plan, so I can't agree or disagree, but from what I understand about 2g speeds I can't help but wonder if those people suggesting a hard cap are really receiving data at 2g but not recognizing it due to the latency vs. what they are accustomed to at more modern speeds. Perhaps the network carrier chosen comes into play as well. Other Red Pocket posts citing various shortcomings seem to be more pronounced with users on the Verizon network (I am on AT&T).
Hard cap (zero data), based on personal experience with RP AT-T network (GSMA?)
FYI the renewal should be entered the day your old plan expires, because the renewal will start the day you enter the renewal code, so if you enter the code earlier, you will lose your existing remaining plan.

You can extend your existing line without loosing the balance IF the new plan is EXACTLY the same as the existing plan. I did it before and just confirmed it on chat support.
I just had a chat with RP CSR online. I was told that even if the existing plan is exactly the same, it will override the current plan.
One of my friends has RedPocket, and she says it's trash. Very slow data speeds, constant signal drops, sometimes misses messages, etc...on a relatively new iPhone 14.

It would be nice if the RP Rep on SD can confirm.
They've confirmed the policy here on various threads numerous times. The problem is that the implementation isn't surefire so you may have to call/chat CS to get it resolved or not. Simpler to apply yourself manually w/i 90 day purchase date. It boils down to your risk tolerance.
This is the cheapest this plan has been in the past several years. I've been on this plan (CDMA Verizon) since 2018. It usually sells for $180 on eBay as the OP posted. I think it went for $160 recently, but my plan was still good for more than a year so I didn't buy at the time. I checked my eBay history & I bought a renewal for $180 in 2022 & again in 2023. Have had some issues (not many only about 2 in 5 years) where the phone wouldn't make calls or the voice mail was screwed up, but CS chat was quick to resolve. Just tell them the problem & ask them to reset your line.
Never bothered to check speeds or data consumption as I don't use the phone for data purposes. I only use data for maps when in the car & checking websites while shopping or when needed & I've never run out of the 3 gigs.
Deprioritized Verizon is terrible. I would suggest mobileX, USMobile (priority on 5g only), or Visible+ (not the base plan which is deprioritized) if you want to stick with Verizon.
Thanks for the heads up. I need to switch now since my plan reups at Verizon tomorrow. Hope the port out on US Mobile isn't horrible.
Any AT&T suggestions? I have two lines. Most of the time in wifi coverage so like 10gb shared a month is plenty. I need hotspot though. Would love to have my watch so I don't have to take phone on long distant runs. Want to keep price under $40/mo. I have two post paid iPhone 14s.
There is no such a thing is "unlimited". Track your data/call/message and see monthly average. From there, maybe a plan that work better than other. Use adblock, turn off background data and such to save data.
New to RP. I have a few questions. If you have experience with RP, could you please clarify the following? Thank you.
Is this 5G speed or best available? The post says 4G but eBay description sounds like 5g.
After 360 days, do I have to buy another 360-day plan to extend the service or does it get auto renewed to the same plan for the same price? Just worried the phone number and all would be gone if I don't renew in time.
Can I stack up two 360-day plans (order 1 with SIM and 1 for renewal) so I don't have to keep renewing?
Do I have to activate the SIM within a certain number of days?
Thanks again.
Usually activation is within 90 days. Don't know if you can stack two, but I'i don't know why you'd want to either as renewal is like a 2 minute process to do with them emailing you a code on eBay. Their plans tend to improve slightly each year (in data or price), and if you want out after a year you're not wasting anything.

This is similar to last month's back2school deal on RP's website right? Will this be the new norm price for this plan, or is it just a short-term sale?
