This is an easy $250, but the ACH deposit needing to be from employer or government kind of sucks. My employer only allows for my entire check to be moved through a direct deposit request and not just a portion
Should highlight that this is only for existing Amex card holders,
Having trouble changing my DD to this account with my employer. "Routing number does not exist in the system."

Anybody have an idea of what the best current bonus offers are for checking and savings? I got the chase offer of $900 for opening checking and savings and then they keep declining to set up accounts for me. If I do this amex one that is only $250 so then no way I'd get close to the $900 when opening it and a savings acct.
I was 2 hours too late tp do the $400 regions one. And I can't believe despite already doing business with chase and then SPECIFICALLY inviting me to do tat $900 deal they then decline it and don'tt ell why and no way to contact them by email about it apparently.
Capital One checking bonus with 2x $500+ DD. There's sofi $250 if you make $5k+ in DD <25 days. Fidelity bloom $135 bonus on $300 deposit.
edit: see all by searching SD for "checking deposit" in last 3 or 6 months. search produces a fairly short useful title list.
which chase offer was $900?? I signed up for one back in june for $600 ($200 for checking, $300 for savings, and another $100 if you open both).
It;s an ongoing offer right now same thing where you open both, but it's $900 now if you do both and have a coupon code and they mailed me the offer so I have the code. But twice I tried to do it and it rejects me. wtf? How can I be worthy of 3 credit accts with them, but not a savings or checking one??? I assumed if you had money to put into an acct any bank would let anyone open them!

I looked them up , but none are above $250 except capital one, but I already opened ne with them and also they're horrible. They kept declining when I tried to put money in betting accts. It's one thing for credit cards, but when moving your OWN money from checking those losers should not be declining as if it's theirs.

Chase is picky. I had savings and checking, yet rejected for credit

I wonder what in the world they were even looking at for me, since checking and savings don't cause the credit pulls. I didn't even give the info except the first time it asked for my id number.

The $900 didn't last very long. I blinked and missed it. But the good news is you can do it again every couple of years.

Idk about chex but there is no hard credit pull. It states as much at the bottom of the application.
