This is an easy $250, but the ACH deposit needing to be from employer or government kind of sucks. My employer only allows for my entire check to be moved through a direct deposit request and not just a portion

Can anyone else confirm data point what else makes up for DD requirement? Like a zelle transfer? I read someone mention on DoC forum that rewards from citi cards to this account would constiute as one?

I thought I read amex checking is not in the zelle network. Fidelity transfer apparently work. So far I know robinhood is not available. I am testing ebay/amazon.

So it says under the terms and conditions wire transfer out of Amex checking will incur $20 fees. So does that mean if I transfer money out of Amex to a different bank, I need to pay the $20 fee?

If you use "wire transfer" service -- don't use wire transfer to avoid fee
