That was very useful. I did it and then it said I qualified so then I applied and got approved instantly. Thank you for the link! I guess they'll be sending you a letter with the reason why yours didn't get approved. I've heard of people calling in and talking to a person to see if they can get it overturned but not sure how that's likely with Capital One.

Is anyone else having issues getting a virtual card? When I click Get your virtual card, I'm asked to verify my identity, either through a text message or an ID and a selfie. I'm still waiting for my renewed driver's license in the mail, so I tried with my passport, and it didn't work. The text message option also doesn't work. I keep getting an error message that says, "We hit a snag, but we're on it. Try again in a bit." The funny thing is text verification works just fine during login. I called support, and the rep put me on a long hold and said not all Venture X customers qualify for a virtual card. That sounded like BS to me because I then asked them a simple question about the $300 credit (now coupon), and they had no clue what I was talking about.

I think virtual card will work after you receive physical card

Yes but only if this is your first ever c1 card. Previous cardholders are not eligible.

I have the same question about the $300 coupon. Anyone else have the same issue ? I can't find it anywhere

They won't do it. I called after having an issue getting the virtual card and asked if they could expedite the physical card so I could use it asap. They said no. I escalated. I was told no again. Capital One is NO American Express, that's for sure!
