where exactly does it say you have to be an exisiting or new COX internet customer? I do NOT have COX internet and I do not plan to switch to COX internet.

No, this is not correct. By the Gig means, you pay for each Gig (I'm in a By the Gig plan). If you cross 1GB, you are not capped, you go into the 2GB tier; you pay for 2GB. If you are close to 3GB, you can change the plan to the unlimited plan as By the Gig plan is not worth at that point. You do get lot of alerts when you are close, etc. Also, iPhones have lot of settings to turn off cellular completely or turn off cellular per app.

Cox Mobile is only currently open to existing Cox Internet subscribers (any tier). Not sure if they plan to expand, but right now they don't allow anyone else to subscribe. If you cancel Cox Internet and want to keep your Mobile plan active, it is possible, but will add $20/month to your monthly bill, that's currently the only way to be a Cox Mobile customer without being an Internet subscriber.

Yes, this is probably the best deal (if you have their service); I think xfinity mobile also has a similar promotion (not $500 reward but $400 reward).

I am a Cox Internet customer so after reading their promotion in full, I jumped on this so quick. I was just going to get the 15 but for $170 more for pro was the way to go. I just took the one gig service.

I didn't have to ask for it, I got email about it in couple of hours about order and that my monthly price has changed. It's more like bundle discount, in my area it's $70/month for 250 Mbps internet and $55/month for 250 Mbps if you have Cox Mobile. It includes Panoramic modem, if you pay some promotional price for internet i don't know how it will affect.

Thanks for the reply, I doubt they would give it then. I have the 500 Mbps unlimited data for $85 a month. It should be more but they give me a discount because I'm an old man and I cry a lot on the phone telling them I can't afford the full price. It's worked that way for a few years.
