Not too exciting for me, but it's good to see we're finally moving on from the rather weak and outdated 1650 laptops that were always on sale for ~$500 for several years. Seems to be on par with the desktop GTX 1650 and uses 8nm: https://www.techpowerup

This new batch of 2050 is based on 3050 tech. It has more CUDA cores than the old 2060, but narrower memory interface. It uses 2-3x less power, and I guess no LHR lock. It may be good for AI or crypto farm, which need more cores per watts, but don't need large data transfer.
This seems like a little of everything and a pretty decent price for dedicated card.
I have until year end and don't really have an immediate need otherwise since I don't use a laptop.
Thoughts on how much better a deal might pop up?
It seems like some older stuff is cycling out now so new deals might be more just because it's sales on newer gen.
