After 36 months credit. It's been the same format for the past 6+ years. IMO it's a great deals if you are planning to stay with it.

Only they used to give this 800 with recent models of iPhones, like past 2 gen . This is the first time Verizon offered 1000 with any iPhone

https://www.verizon.com/about/new...d-ultimate

Edit 1:
If you recently got the bloom deal, you can combo with this deal for an additional $80 cashback for signing up for a new Verizon line

there is no secret that VZ is the priciest of them all, I would not pay for the full premium price either. That said, many of us can still take advantage of this offer

For example

I wfh so my company pays for my phone bill but not the phone. In this case it's more important to score the 1000 phone credit than worrying about monthly payments

Those who have 5+ line and can satisfy all Vz requirements to get additional discounts and lower their monthly rate to 30 per line.

Those who want to be on VZ because how much we do depends on the phone now. So staying connected and have the fastest speed is more important than monthly bill cost.

it's a legit business expense to write off

I am sure there are more reasons

If you do not belong to any of these cases then I am sorry this might not be a deal for you.

Ultimately it is up to you. Do the math and evaluate your personal situation to see if this is a deal for you or not.

The amount you pay for having that plan, Jesus, they could give $1500 and I still wouldn't consider it a good deal.

For four lines, you pay $55/line. Now the question is the 'anyphone' trade in - is bricked phone eligible?

Think I might do this since I already have a verizon family plan and want to move an iPhone 12 over. When going through the order process, it says I will only get $830 off if I choose the 42-dollar-a-month option, but when I do choose it, it still says that the phone is free on the final page. is that how it is for anyone else?

No, I'm saying I'm not selecting ultimate unlimited, I'm selecting Unlimited Plus which is only 42 a month instead of 52 a month. It says that I should only get 830 for my iPhone but it appears that it is giving me the full $1000 on the final page.

Not exactly the same, as it used to be 24 months credit. It changed to 36 within the past year or two, bummer.

Just curious. Which area Costco still has T-mobile? At least here in Nor Cal, T-mobile kiosks shut down in most of the Costcos. It's either ATT or Verizon now

I've been debating about this. Does anyone have experience paying it off after 2-years? For instance, swapping the phone and bringing an external one on your line after 2-years but still receiving the monthly stipend? It seems even if I keep it for two years and forfeit the final third, it's more advantageous than buying from Apple.

I get discounted Verizon unlimited plans at $35/line ($10 off per line and an additional $10 off for bank autopay).

I have a 12 Pro, currently. I could use the $830 trade-in for a new model. ($169/$269/$369 after three years).

Alternatively, I could get a iPhone 15 Pro direct from Apple for with no 36-month:
- 128 GB $899 - $360 = $539
- 256 GB $989 - $360 = $629
- 256 GB Max $1079 - $360 = $719

Still got 6 months on my old trade in promo which was a 30 month promo (instead of 24). The longer these promos get stretched out the less valuable they are IMO.

yes, costco mobile kios now is either Verizon, AT&T or t-mobile. You'll need to goto kios that are served by t-mobile employees, such as the one in Mountain View and Almaden. They waive $35 fees, give $75 costco card for upgrade and $xx for new lines....

So if I do the trade-in via Apple I don't have to change my current plan? Currently I have 5G Start and if I do a trade-in with Verizon, Verizon wants me to change my plan to Unlimited Plus which is around $12 more than 5G Start. Thx in advance.
