Slow transfer speed, for those who care.
You know most android USB C ports are 2.0 and those that are 3.0 are the same standard as the new iPhone

Also no android manufacturer ships phones with usb c 3.0 cables

But I'm sure you thought you had some sort of "gotcha" going there
This usb c cable has transfer speed of 480 Mbps only.

IMHO Buy a used cable from a reputable oem via ebay instead of these no names. They have been known to destroy devices. Rare, but possible.
Can't stress this enough, I learned it the hard way. I am currently waiting for the replacement of the charging port of my (s22 ultra). I thought it got damaged due to moisture.

But 3 days ago, both my old phone (s20+) and tablet are having charging issues as well so I suspected it must be caused by the replacement charger I am using. Last night, shortly after plugging in my wireless charger to my original samsung fast charger using replacement usb c cable, smoke came out of the usb port of the wireless charger. I changed the usb c cable and same thing happened. Both cables I used are cheap high power USB-C cable from temu. Now after destroying 2 phones and 1 tablet, I am 100% sure it was due to the cheap cables.

The iPhone 15 (non-Pro) is USB 2.0 from our Lord's glorious year of 2000. No joke I'm afraid (or is it?)!

The iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max is USB 3.1 from the year 2013.

This cable appears to be USB 2.0. 22-year-old standard. Just like the brand new iPhone. Cutting edge stuff there! LMAOLMAOHa ha
Jokes on you dumbass. It's 3.2

100w 10gbps cables are like 4x this price if not more for a single cable. How will a charger end up in a landfill due to transfer speeds? It's still usable ad a charger. You're inventing fake scenarios to win an argument you're having with yourself. It's not a good look.
You get good quality 3.2 cables for 10 bucks a pop sometimes cheaper

The joke is that apple always "innovates" by finally adding features to their products that everyone else has already done a long time ago. And then their customers always act like it's revolutionary while us normal folk just roll our eyes. I have a friend like this, and I'm sure many others here have friends like this as well.
Apple didn't switch to USB-C to innovate. They switched to USB-C to comply with EU regulations.and avoid being locked out of that market. If it wasn't for the EU the 15's would likely still be Lightning.

Don't you dare laughing at Apple like that. What you said may be true, but the iPhone 15 series is still THE BEST IPHONE EVER!

Letting go of proprietary port is one of the biggest Apple improvements in decades!

"Can't innovate anymore, my ASS!!"
Apple didn't "let go" of their proprietary port, the EU ordered them to do so. Or they couldn't sell in the EU.

The Pro is their flagship phone - their "best ever" - and instead they switched to a protocol from 10+ years ago? How does that make sense?

I waited for the 15 because they were moving to USB C. In my worst nightmare, I didn't expect to drop $800 to $1000 in 2023 on a port with 2013 and 2003 speeds.

It's USB 3.2 Gen 2 which is the same as USB 3.1 and is indeed from 2013. So the latest iPhone 15 Pro model is using a 10 year old standard. Which is probably fine for most people.

Has anyone tested these cables to see if they really can match their 100W spec?

Why the downvotes? Were they by iDiot? I own many apple products. What I'm writing here is true. The iPhone 15 uses the 22-yr old USB 2.0 protocol. On purpose. iDiots will be iDiots I guess. LMAOHa ha
Yeah I only buy high end android phones so they drop 70% in value after a few months. I feel much better than those iDiots.
