I also stacked it w/ the $25 off $150 HD Credit Card coupon that I received in the mail recently (good through 11/1). Codes are 1-time use I believe.
It's a welcome addition to my bush and tree trimming arsenal of Fiskars pruning stik, one and two handed loppers, electric and manual pole saws, regular reciprocating saw, chainsaw.
The pruning blade isn't affected by dirt. Occasionally, it might hit a rock in the ground or a part of the trunk and bend. Sometimes repairable by using pliers to straighten out the blade. Haven't noticed a difference in cutting performance when using name brand vs. generic pruning blades. 6" blade for one-handed saw and 9" or 12" blade for regular saw.
Adapters do not work for batteries manufactured after 2021 even if they fit. Rigid made modifications . Your post is incorrect
I didn't know that. "Problematic" kind of implies not working or not working properly. My comment isn't incorrect.

I wanna keep it to one other brand...do you recommend Milwaukee or Ryobi?
It's the one off affordable items where they have the edge I think for a 2nd line in your garage plus price factor for a home DIYer and slowly it's becoming my 2nd platform along with Ridgid and at this rate. Plus for me it helps I have local access to Discount Tools Outlet (no shipping concerns, easy returns etc).
For Rigid I have their drill, couple of 1/4" impact drivers, circular saw, multi-tool, recip saw, 1/2" high torque impact wrench. These should get the job done even if a bit demanding. I also got a 2nd 1/2" milwaukee high torque impact wrench with one M18 battery that I use when needed, it was a gift but I already had Ridgid one and they both do well, I don't think Milwaukee is THAT much better than the Ridgid one. Plus all the new one off Ryobi stuff that I'm starting to piece together. For someone like me who is not a pro but does like to have tools to work around the house or on projects, I felt the combo of Ridgid and Ryobi was good since Ridgid still makes good quality products with great warranty and I feel in the gaps with Ryobi.

Super deal for saw for less than $50.
