Beat me to posting it haha. Always tempted to bite but the price keeps coming down! Chat with customer service for additional 10% off. Bringing down to 720 before tax

You would blow 50%-100%+ of your $800 budget on a receiver that could support this many Atmos channels, plus then you need all the speakers. Running wires into your ceiling for a "legit" Atmos setup is also a serious PITA, and in general, a massive HT setup just doesn't pass the WAF.

Sound bars have come a long way vs. the models that existed 10 years ago.

Don't think you'll see better than this without bundling. Have the 990B and continued impressed with it even 12+ months later. Have tried Sony HTA9, Ambeo, KEF LS50II and others. None have the entire package, ease of use, and truly immersive around, especially at this price!

Worked for me: bought AAA (was going to anyway) and it is half off the first year for new accounts in CO. Used the link to go to Samsung aaa discount. The issue happens when Atmos audio is played. If you turn off Atmos on the TV sound settings, the issue goes away. Is this only an issue with Apple TV? I have this soundbar attached to a QN90B Samsung and have no lip-synch issues whatsoever. I only use Plex for streaming though... Live TV I don't experience any issues either, but I don't have any live tv channels with atmos, as far as I know. edited to add: I actually run plex *from* an apple tv 4k (not sure which gen).

I don't have experience with the lower end models, but it just depends how you value things. For my setup, I want the best visuals and sound possible (within reason), so even if the Q910C was $200-300, I wouldn't get it to use it. But the Q990C isn't 2-3x as enjoyable. The Q990C is probably a 9/10 and the Q910C is probably an 8/10. So if money is tight enough that you even need to ask the question, stick with the value item, because having the top end doesn't seem to be all that important to you.

FYI to those who got this two weeks ago when the price was 899 less 10%. Depending on the associate who will assist, you may or may not receive the full 100 dollar credit. Chatted with two associates who were just willing to price match up to 800 but then found a third one who credited me the full 100 dollar price difference. So i would suggest try until you find someone willing to do it.Smilie

I received mine 8/30 so they said I was outside the 15 day window (after they initiated a request yesterday I got an email rejected it today). Think I should try again with someone else?

The only way you can do Justice to yourself by listening them side by side one after other for same audio. I did it yesterday and returned 910c and settled with 990c. It's totally worth with better sound clarity, Dolby Atmos and woofer bass!
