Highly recommend. I grabbed mine at the $700 and it was completely worth it. I will say my sub unit was defective...they made me buy another entire surround and swap the subs. The sub kept disconnecting every few minutes or so, even when directly next to the soundbar. New sub worked fine

Also, my smartthings app finally got updated with full control of all channels and speakers from -12 to +6 all on my phone with sliders, so nice while watching movies because they are all different.
Not at all. You can customize the bass and it has a "night mode" for times when you want surround sound without waking people up. Having said that it can certainly be tuned to piss off the neighbors
