If the employee actually cares, then no. It's against their policy to use GS gift cards for any POSA cards.

Having said that, their sales system has never actually disallowed the transaction to go through.

I got the same thing but when using paypal and credit card options but got it to go through with google pay

Sorry 15% of those is not a slick deal. All those can be had on credit card rewards or Sam'sclub. Heck Sams club has Dominos for 25 percent off and even Xbox is close to 15 percent but with Chase this Q4 gift cards at Sams are a extra 5% off so even Xbox at Sams is more then 15% off if you use your chase card.

is this bonus still good? I'm not seeing anything about it, even after adding cards to cart at checkout?

edited to add: never found out. They saw fit to make me wait 3 hours, then to cancel my order, with some bs reason about not able to verify my payment information. (Verified paypal account, 24 years of history), billing address and shipping address match, kroger account was 4+ years old, with matching addresses. Just typical corporate idiocy. I wonder how much business they lose every day to bad algorithms.
