    The last time I purchased a NEW, back ordered item from Newegg, they sent me someone's returned, damaged USED item and refused to accept it back from me because it was damaged.

    I'll pass, as I do on anything from Newegg.

    ok, got 2 of them from Newegg yesterday. Ordered it a few days ago, and had expected delivery of Sept 27, but ... it shipped that day and in 2 days I got it. I was surprised.

    Now, I did test it with my Sabrent USB 3.2 Type-C Tool-Free Enclosure for M.2 PCIe NVMe and SATA SSD device I bought for 19 dollars. I had to get firmware and update the Sabrent to get it to see the p41. At first I thought why isn't this working. Then after hunt for answer, updated it to 2023 firmware for the Sabrent and p41 worked on my pc.
    My speeds using usb 3.2 type -C were 1,000.
    I did use sabrent clone stuff, and tried to get it to work in my PC, no go. I got frustrated trouble-shooting it, because I had to take PC apart, and it was late last night, and lighting was not that great. So , I will have to check if I have to do something with motherboard or get firmware for it.

    I'm just saying the newegg product was new, and I am getting the speeds I like on usb 3.2-C port.
