TLw, he says that it's a good deal if you can get it on sale (which this is on sale) but he'd likely relegate it to the basement as it doesn't have HDMI 2.1. That may not be a big deal for non-gamers, so this may be worth taking a shot on for some people.

It's an lg panel just budget guys and casing.
Wish they did a 43" for a arcade monitor I need. Rather not spend 800+ on one lol

Sure but I would still much rather trust an established brand in the American market, like lg or samsung. Same reason I would never buy a Chinese car no matter how many they sell outside of the US. Just looking at the amazon reviews on this tv tells me this is not worth buying https://www.amazon.com/SKYWORTH-6...merReviews

I agree, but sometimes you don't have the budget for the more expensive brands.

I bought a hisense u8g 65, experienced the drawbacks of a cheap set and then bought a sony a80j and returned the hisense. It wasn't that bad, but lesser tv's are cheaper for a reason.

Cannot be worse than the Visio OLED I bought a few years back. Good looking screen when it works. But perhaps Skyworks and other low end brands will help pull LG prices down.

most people are better off going with a better tv brand than the cheap chinese ones. the chinese ones have massive reliability issues compared to sony lg or samsung

Ain't that the truth. Vizio is probably the most hit or miss electronics brand that I can come up with offhand. With the costs of the P series, so many of the problems Ive heard people have are just inexcusable. And then there are others that buy the same set and are tickled with it. For me personally, it's a brand that I just stay away from because I don't have the extra money or time to play the Vizio lotto.

According to the comments from the seller on a video review [youtube.com] for this TV, it is supposed to be 60hz for sources and 120 hz for motion with built-in apps.

All OLEds are susceptible to burn in, if you watch programs that have tickers or static images on them. would you put your life on it? You know its not a lifetime warranty.... Why do you think they have a disclaimer
