Never seen it on my current tvs yet...
Tempted to buy the TV, but the "regular" price of this TV at Amazon is $800. Maybe the price will go down further in Amazon when it gets closer to BF. Who knows when Chinese company BOE start producing Oled panels would compete and start making cheaper panels than LG we all benefit with lower prices.
BTW, is this tv 120hz?
For all intents and purposesFor HDMI, it's 60Hz. It doesn't have the correct HDMI ports to take advantage of 120Hz, so it only uses 120Hz internally with apps.Strongly considering this thing because I want to get into OLED without any gaming bells and whistles, and I'll never connect it to the Internet, but I can't shake the feeling this will just be disposable tech. Going to be hard to match this price though on a better brand.
Edit: Yeah, taking a chance on this one. Thanks OP.

*I am just posting this because you said for all intents and purposes, when most people don't even use the HDMI ports. They stream media, gamers using a TV are a super minority. I think you are right though, it would be incredibly hard to price match this for video media. LG sets can be better for gamers that can push greater then 120fps, but really, how many people can push 120fps in games via their video card to take advantage of the gaming features? Not many unfortunately at the moment. I don't care about people talking about PS5/Xbox Series X as most first party triple A titles still run 30fps so they can hit that "4K" target.

Very happy with my purchase and a hell of a TV for the price.
F*ck me for being neat and getting the trash out so quickly - how the hell do I return this thing now?!
Waiting to hear back from Walts.com now.
