Akshually, QDOLED is FAR more susceptible to burn in than WOLED... Ask me how I know and why I no longer have one, after selling my 3rd replacement. Rtings burn in tests also confirmed this.

Any word on fan on this? This seems like a great deal as I've been waiting on this or the LG 38. I may still be waiting for the LG to drop to this price.
I have this monitor and it's fantastic. It also goes on sale for $900 very frequently. If you can wait for a major holiday you're likely to get a lot more CB on Dell.com from a major site - they offered 15% back for Memorial Day and 10% back for 7/4, and both times this was on sale for $900. Also check your credit card for 5% back offers on Dell. If you can stack them all this is a great deal.
Is it good for office work and gaming? I heard oled isn't good for text?
Not that OLED is not good for text. The pixel density is not high enough to produce crisp text. OLED provides excellent pictures quality compared to IPS

The 34 inch OLEDs are smaller - 34 vs 38 inch, 1440p vs 1600p. It's likely much better for gaming but for office work I was concerned about text clarity and burn in. Try to find a store with display models for both to compare in person.

I really wish the LG would go under $1000.
I want that one over the Dell because of the Picture in Picture feature mainly due to it being AMD Freesync Premium.
I agree, this form factor is the best balance of physical size and resolution. I got tired of waiting for an OLED in this size and bought a 42" C2 a few months ago. No regrets, but had I known LG was planning on releasing a 39", I would have waited.

Any idea what resolution? If it's another 1440p model I'll pass.
Edit: seems so "39" ultrawide bendable OLED with 3440x1440 and 240Hz"

If I had to choose again today, I would still choose a 38" IPS over a 34" OLED. Hoping for the day where they come out with a 38" OLED.
