Think about it this way, if you were to rebuy the iphone 11, it's ~$260 on swappa.
However, if you traded it in, you would get $500 for it.
Plus, if you trade in your iphone 11, you could get a newer iphone once you come back, and you could sell the Pixel 8 as well.
I will wait for reviews also as the battery life of the p7pro was terrible

I once knew a guy that trades his TV for a sack of potatoes. If you trade a pro max iPhone for a basic pixel you would be doing the same..I'm a pixel user but that's trading down pretty far.
Better off keeping the iPhone just for a b&m store near you and the ability to interact with a real person who doesn't have any care once you have already made the purchase.

I will admit my pixel 7 seems smoother then my 23 ultra, but I only use my p7 for music and browsing.
I also have Pixel 7, but for playing music through bluetooth speaker and some entertainment apps that I'm concerned having them installed on my Samsung S23 Ultra.
Samsung S23 Ultra is a beast compared to Pixel 7!
