Another way to look at it is you're getting a discount on the TV if you finance because money has value over time. Even if you could buy it outright, throwing that cash in a Treasury bill gets you 5% annually

Adding from the previous 77" thread…

Got 77" for 2105 before tax, including extra 10% from chat and $100 credit for tv trade in. Don't suspect it goes lower this year.

Mine arrived, but was cracked and no picture. Have to return and reorder, no replacements through Samsung.com. Also have to wait to get the price match to the reorder until after second order ships. They appear to only ship on Fridays so waiting a week for all of it. Huge pain.

It's a big discount but I probably won't order direct from Samsung again. This is the case where I may well wait until BF now and buy elsewhere.

They moved the TV to my basement, unpacked it very carefully, assembled it, assembled the wall mount I got on Amazon, measured everything, showed me where on the wall the bottom of the screen would be, located the studs, screwed the mount on the wall and mounted the TV on the wall. asked if I wanted to keep the box or taken away.

I gave a $20 tip and they walked away happy. Took around 40min. 2 guys.

Everything by I have got from these epp deals from Samsung have been broken upon arrival. First tv I got was broken and my fridge. Usually they are good deals but returning is a pain in the ass fyi. I now only buy tv's where I can easily return. Samsung needs work on shipping.

I hear ya and I don't either but 0% isn't bad debt. Its a way to take what you would have spent on the tv upfront and potentially make money with it utilizing a savings account, CD, etc. Just curious if you could do that as well.

Sadly, Dolby Vision ruined me, and my pocket book, by making me a picky TV buyer. Otherwise I would've pulled the trigger on this.
