So be prepared to buy additional hardware from a home improvement store and drill into the encasement or consider a better quality, solid wood Murphy bed.
I ended up buying a Lori bed because (1) the bed base isn't attached by any hardware to the encasement, (2) solid wood, (3) can be assembled by one person, (4) the bed base can be used as a beautiful bed with a natural wood grain if it ever gets moved into a space as a permanent fixture, (5) doesn't require drilling into your walls and (6) comes with an optional key lock to prevent children from lowering the bed.
2 cons of my Lori bed: the price has gone up quite a bit since I purchased mine ($1300 w/ coupon code a couple years ago, $1800 now) and you have to apply some strength to lower/lift the bed as it's not using metal piston hardware.
I'm not going to sit here and say the Lori bed is the best option especially at its current price point but I think you should explore your options before buying the cheapest Murphy bed you can find.

Thank you very much for the insight. Any other brands you would recommend? We would definitely be looking for solid wood based on your comments.
At the time, Lori was the best bang for the buck. It still might be because solid wood Murphy beds are very expensive. The heavier the wood, the better the hardware has to be if you're looking for a piston mechanism/easier lift and the more expensive the shipping costs.
It seems like good quality Murphy beds are a specialty item that only smaller, independent outlets offer so you're really not going to find deals on them. There were times where I was ready to buy one from other companies until I realized their shopping cart was down because they were out of business and never updated their site.
Also, Murphy bed offerings can vary by your location. A higher condensed metro might have multiple local outlets that might regularly clear their stock. I live in Phoenix so I was kinda limited to online offerings. If you live in or near a highly condensed city, check out some local furniture stores.

I'm not sure about this particular brand. I bought the one from Costco before and it's made from solid wood instead of MDF. It was $1100 in 2021. It's sturdy and really light to lift the bed compared to LORI bed. You need two people to fold LORI queen size while Murphy you can fold it by yourself. The most important thing is anchoring it. I added extra anchor on top using IKEA free anchor bolts.
This brand is 1/2 off what I paid, but is it MDF?
Its probably going to take me 8 hours and lots of cursing to assemble it btw.

But looking at everything, the support structure for the bed itself is metal, so I'm not too worried about it ripping out We'll see how it goes in 2 weeks or if I'm having a super fun call to return the entire thing.

You really don't need 2 people for the Lori because the bed base has curved edges. Soon as you start lifting, you can shift the weight to the edge and it easily props up.
Make your bed, that really has nothing to do with moisture. Just laziness.
