WHAT'S THE MAX CAPACITY THE J-HOOKS CAN HOLD?
At least 300 pounds. I have put 300 pounds for squats on the j-hooks.and it has held up.
HOW MUCH WEIGHT CAN A SAFETY FENCE HOLD?
I don't know exactly, but because the weight is distributed over the entire cage, the safety bar can hold at least about 600-700 lbs.
These details and specifications seem too vague. Would recommend passing if this is anything other than a starter rack.

Those sound like customers.
If you click the J hook listing it shows the specs:
HIGH QUALITY STEEL:Made of high quality steel,2 j-cups can static supports up weight capacity more than 1000 lbs.
I'm going to look into this unit more. I'm interested in power rack + cable machine combos to hopefully be able to do all workouts without having multiple machines....
I was tempted by the costco Inspire FTX deal but I think I'd be sad having that be my sole workout equipment...

LMAO at these answers. What you put on it means absolutely zero. This is a good way to get someone hurt. I'm sure they are rated much much higher but check that info with the manufacturer not what some steak head did one time in the basement for a partial rep
Racks with 4" hole spacing get annoying pretty quickly.
This isn't a bad rack for what you are paying, but if you are serious about working out and plan to lift at home long term, you would be better off saving and buying an Athena or Ares rack from Rep Fitness. You would likely want to replace this so would be ahead spending more and buying once.
This is far from a good deal. Nearly the same machine is sold under a lot of brand names on Amazon and Walmart.com for ~500-700. I got one last year. They're worth the Amazon/Walmart price, but you get what you pay for. They're not particularly sturdy, and the cable system is not particularly smooth.
So max cable capacity is 300lbs, and weight to lift ratio is 2:1, so that means the max lat pulldown or seated row you can do is 150lbs? Seems kinda worthless for that. Am I understanding correctly?
