Note that the actual price for this, like most memory devices, has been in a relatively steady decline over time. It hasn't been $100 since August 2022 according to the Camels, so be advised that the deal is inflated. It's a nifty card if you do need one, but $25-40 is pretty normal for these kind of cards at this point, so $32 is fair-good, but not amazing.

Yeah as expected prime day deals are mostly meh> at this point there's no reason to get this if you're not in a hurry, especially with black friday being next month already

It's said that Amazon commingles inventory from all sellers, so you're getting parts grabbed from the same bin regardless of which seller you chose

EDIT: not sure if this is only limited to third-party vendors. Anyone know if "ships from and sold by Amazon" used the same inventories as Fulfilled by Amazon?

I believe it all depends on the SKU.

Amazon gives sellers the option to commingle their products so that "sold and shipped by Amazon" products could still be third-party. I'm a third party seller and sell genuine LEGOs and I get the option to "fully commingle" my products so I know their processes first hand

I was a victim a few years ago. Of course I knew to only buy directly from Amazon but I was still sent a fake memory card. That's when I found out about their ridiculous policy of comingling of stock from outside sources. So they aren't willing to secure their supply chain. So screw it. I'm using Amazon as little as possible and definitely not purchasing anything easily faked like memory cards and such. Oh sure they'll say they're fighting forgerys but their not. They'll quickly throw a small business owner under the table and arbitrarily remove their entire business front from Amazon but won't enact any real change because they profit so much from 3rd party sales.

Echo everyone else here. Don't buy memory cards from Amazon. It's a tale as old as time.

I'm so glad that more people are finding out and accepting the terrible practices that Amazon does. I remember when I first started warning people nobody believed me. I understand I didn't even believe it. But I started getting disenchanted with Amazon after their lackluster response to me confronting them with the fact they were selling fake merchandise. They could not care any less… it took a huge fight to even get them to refund me the money. Terrible practices from a too big to fail company.
