These are good deals. The LotR decks go for $30. They have solid cards that aren't available in LotR packs. They play well against each other.

According to my Amazon history, I bought this for $15.49 back in March 11, 2023. IDK where they got $35 for original price?

This is a really good deal in terms of card value. Bilbo's Ring and Witch-King, Bringer of Ruin alone would cost about this much.

$35 isn't the original price, it's the MSRP. Manufacturers SUGGESTED retail price, what they say they think it's worth. Guess they figured with the license they could squeeze a few extra bucks out of it. Also guess they were wrong.

Yeah, not sure why they're showing both when this is only for the LOTR. The other set has been $10 for a couple months now.

The 2023 Starter Kit needs to go on sale now too. $15 sounds about right.

WOTC hasn't released MSRP for magic products in a long time, they abandoned MSRP in 2019. So, the $35 is actually just whatever Amazon wants to say it is.

On Tcgplayer, looks like it released on the market at $31.99, and lowest price has been approx. $17.22 back in May.

Thanks I remember playing 30 years ago but never really caught on. For 7 bucks, why not give it another try

Is there a chance to hit some cool cards or is it all the same cards in the starter kit?
