i saw it but found it to be different price $750. May be only for SAMSCLUB itself, hence special edition but still a good deal

Have an Espon EcoTank and would not recommend if you do print frequently. The ink gets clogged up faster that the old-school inkjet printers.

EcoTank is economical for a certain subset of folks- it's really for those that print frequently, and especially those that need to print a lot

I bought a Eco-Tank printer from Costco last week. Will need to return it. Other than saving money on ink, it doesn't worth at all. Print quality is poor.

Like someone else said above, if you don't print a lot, it may not be good choice for you. I print only 2-3 pages a day - max.

I have the 8500 and photo quality is nothing short of amazing. If you use crap paper and dont load the right color profiles then your results may be poor but that's not the fault of the printer. EcoTank are for people who do print a lot, not those that don't. If they sit for too long then they can get clogged.

I have an ecotank G7020 and have printed over 6000 pages so far with zero issues. Best printer I have ever owned. Usually if you don't print a lot it clogs because it dries. I'm confused here.

Ecotank..Seriously. They are plastic junk. Yes cheap ink but at this price I can get many years of ink with a much cheaper and better different printer. Ecotanks are slow, low quality printouts, and very plasticky. Epson software is pretty good and ink is cheap but thats it,

Just sold my canon pro-100 and getting the fund for this ecotank. Canon megatank g620 is just as good, if not better than et-8500. G620 cannot print a3, which is an advantage of et-8550.
