Office Depot (and all other retailers) has he ET-8550 on sale for $600, normally $800. I have been waiting for this to go on sale so i can use it for my business. I think i was this price briefly 6 months ago so it is very rare occurrence. From my research this is the best large printer that uses Refillable ink that is very cheap and very good quality. It's not "fine art" quality but i don't see any reasonably priced large format with refillable ink like this.

Best printer I've ever owned. Bought mine in December 2022 for this price. I don't use it a ton, but after many full-size 13x19 prints, my original ink is still at 50% or more on all tanks. Never had a single issue with a clogged nozzle, even after sitting unused for a week or two. The size is great, the auto-extending print tray is a huge space saver when it's not in use. I came to this from a Canon Pixima Pro-100 that gave me tons of problems and was the size of a Buick, and long before that I had an old Epson wide format printer that also had frequent issues. This thing is great, ready to go when I need it and not taking up half the room when I don't. I couldn't be happier with it.

Been waiting for it to be on sale also. Bought it from Dell just now. Totally agree with OP and I did a lot of research also.
