I have the 3/8 version with the same rated "250 ft.-lbs. breakaway torque", it struggles to loosen wheel lugs tighten to 85ft/lbs

I have the 1/2" version shown and it has never had a problem. Are you using extensions or adapters?
That can limit power transfer into the lug nuts.

No problems with my 3/8" removing my Tacoma (85lb-ft) or Mazda b2300 (100lb-ft) wheel lugs.

Are you using any adapters or extensions? I also use a red lithium high output battery, which could help you.

There is a setting, it's not 1 2 or 3. It's the other one that uses max torque while in reverse. I had to read the instructions to figure it out. Was trying to find them to link it for you but coming up short.

Seems like a good deal and I'd get it if it wasn't for the 6.0 battery. I have read several accounts of people having issues with 6.0 battery dying prematurely. Have yet to read such accounts with 2.0, 3.0, or 5.0 battery.

I have owned the 3/8 for quite a bit. Really nice one. I am going to grab this one for the whole set.
