For the urban xR1/xT1 models the rep tells me those models are discontinued. They didn't have the manual on the site so would have to email them for it. Also for replacement wear parts, like the battery, it's not available on the gotrax site you can order -- rep tells me you have to explicitly email them requesting it and they have to get it from their chinese supplier.
From looking around online the gotrax Urban xR1/xT1 seems to be the same exact scooter as the Walberg Urban series of electric scooters --- a german company. And all the specs I can find for it says those use 300w motors -- not 350.
The deal for Urban looks interest but seems a bit risky with everything outlined above.
People have already received it and confirmed it's brand new.
There's no need to worry.

Not familiar with any other.
Anyway, I checked the box again from Walmart (Rival) and I'm looking over everything closely and then I opened it just today. I've seen alot of refurbs and this doesn't look like a refurb, everything is nice and sealed and factory wrapped. It even has that new product smell. Besides Walmart sold me a 3-yr warranty which I doubt they would provide on a refurb. Honestly, I think the Walmart could be a price mistake.

A price mistake on Walmart sounds plausible. Maybe their algorithm skimmed though the internet and decided to update the price to it maybe.

I'm gonna document everything I really hope that's not the case and hopefully there is a serial number or something to match on the battery def going to run tests but walmart doesn't throughly check their returns.
Update: alright so everything seem's to be fine. screws were tightened with a torque just looks like someone tried it out and returned it. I'm guessing they upgraded cause I've taken it out twice and this things so awesome! first e-scooter. I had a smile on my face all day today. kinda wishing I got a 19mph and more distance but I really like the wide foot deck and look overall over other's I've been looking at.

If that happened to me, I'd probably just refuse shipping.
I've always had great experiences with Walmart.
4.5 miles a day. Battery bar gets down to 2 out of 4.
Today I was able to get it down to 1 out of 4 bars. 6.1 miles total.
Convenient to ride the metro with. Bicycles can have limited options for sitting, but this scooter will be fine as long as I can take any two seats.
Very happy for the price.
Would love to test out the actual range. The first battery bar goes away very quickly, but not the next two.
but I bet it will be more expensive, as will anything else with comparable specs and decent quality.
I'll be back to chime in after Black Friday when I'm proven right, once again.
I've never been wrong about such a prediction here, ever.
In fact, it's still available after all this time at the $198 price. This is one incredible deal that seems to never expire!
