What's everyone's thoughts? this the best deal for under $1k for a gaming laptop? I've been eyeing this for a few days at this price. I'm thinking to wait for Cyber Monday (or cyber week) sales... but not sure I'll beat this price on latest Ryzen 7 with 4060. I'd rather snag a slim 7 and 4070 (haha, but that's a configuration not yet released apparently, lol, maybe there won't be a 4070 in the slim series at all..idk..might have to look for a pro 5 for legion or look at ASUS instead).. Anyone have an opinion to share? -Just don't mention a Nitro, lol..they are p.o.s. loud mofos.

I'm also waiting on the Slim 7 AMD with 4070, lol
My second choice is the Pro 7 AMD with 4080/4090
You can get the Slim 7 AMD with 4060 now for roughly $1,150 net ($1,300 at checkout after applying coupons and adding taxes) with cash back offers (e.g., using my BoA Visa with 5% CB on online purchases + 8% CB from r-e-t-a-i-l-m-e-n-o-t, shhhh)
Edit: Yeah, I'm holding out for the Slim 7 AMD with 4070, until BF anyway

It's not available yet, and no word on a release date, if it happens at all :/
Edit: But I'm hoping!
Haha, we agree.. I'll be hoping it's released soon so we can get a sale price!
Not sure how much more cooling a 4070 needs than 4060..both have very similar wattage configs.. seems like Lenovo simply elected not to have the option, thus far at least.

slim. this is probably with the graphic performance of a maxq but they don't list that out these days

Only 60 points difference on Laptopmedia for the "140w" 4060 vs 105w version... and the slim 5i is listed as 140w, so.. in theory this isn't a maxq version. -but I've heard they are voltage locked by nvidia, so idk. -I just read they overclock quite well too.. missed this price though, up $100 now.
