Can't say anything about any other deals posted - I'm just on the video/social team. I share deals because I've been a SD'er for ~8 years longer than I've been a staff member but if you don't like a deal you see on here comment and/or downvote. I've shared over 700 deals on Slickdeals since 2011 and every single one has been one that I've just stumbled upon when online
Well when all the lisen posts are started by SD mods it gives the perception that the products are being skilled. Another lisen post was just started by SD staff just a half a hour ago, j7st seems really weird

Thanks.
I'll check these out I really wished they made a clear case magsafe as I've got compliments on the blue back on pixel 8 pro.
Also bought some screeen protectors from amazon that turned out to be not that great or will get these.
Thanks.

I ordered the Whitestone cause reddit praised that they're edge to edge. I got some IMXTT or something like that from amazon and they're not edge to edge.
One word of advice, never use a sticky holder in the car for negation. Heat and cold will both break it in no time.
Buy the one hooked on the AC fence!

I've got that dbrand Ghost case on order for my P8Pro. No clue when it'll arrive, though.
My wife got the yellow Leap case and it's a pretty awesome case with good magnets! I think they NAILED the low profile/high protection compromise for that case.
$$$$$ for both, unfortunately. I hope I like the dbrand Ghost case.

Depends on the adhesive. I don't know how to tell the good stuff from the bad stuff that you're talking about, but some of the good stuff is damn near impossible to remove, even after multiple heat/cold cycles. We see 100F and -15F days here in Indiana, and I have an adhesive one that's held up through both. (I've also had some that fell off 32 days after installation.)

Thanks, right now I am using Ringke Fusion clear case 9 (no magsafe). I've really liked their cases in the past.
I'll keep an eye on dbrand one in case they go on sale next month during thanksgiving.

Yup - see photo. comes with a usb a to usb c cable but no car port.
What kind of charging speeds do you see on the P8Pro with this? The product says it supports 15W charging, but I'm skeptical that I'll see more than 5W.

Don't know how to officially tell how fast it's charging but here's a screenshot from the Ampere app. This means 8 watts right? Cause around 2000 Ma vs 4volts?
Bought this on Tuesday and it arrives later today. Can leave feedback if anyone has questions. Will be using it with a Pixel 8 Pro.
Pls let me know how this holds and charges. Wife has an iPhone 15 pro max and I have pixel 8 pro. We can make use of this deal.
Also with other wireless car chargers even with using a 100W charger My older Pixel 6 pro would only hold charge while using navigation. I always felt the wireless car chargers didn't charge the phone fast enough.

Thanks! That looks like 7.5W charging to me. P = I * V, so in this case 1.98A * 4.079V = 8.08W, but I'm assuming there's some estimation errors in there and we're really looking at 7.5W charging (I don't think Ampere can directly measure charging power, just estimate based on a few things). Which is better than the 5W you're stuck with for many chargers, but certainly not 15W.

Different phones behave differently.. last Android phone I had was like that where even on a decent charger it would basically just 'maintain' while navigating and not be able to actually charge... the iphones I've had since then haven't really had that issue.

According to your screenshot, yeah, approx 8W. That said, the charging block you use with it can definitely affect the output of qi chargers. Also, your phone may not be charging as quickly as it possibly can with your battery level being 61% - depends on the manufacturer. Other factors can affect charge rates, too.

Was testing it using a 90w usb-c insignia wall charger.

It only rotates once mounted. I was also confused about that part.

As long as the adhesive on this is good, I don't think there's as much worry. It might also do with the texture/surface of your dashboard.
