FYI they started charging tax and fees on T-Mobile cards.
Unused/Unapplied AT&T Prepaid refill cards have no specific expiration date, and should still be good indefinitely. The 90 day timeline starts after it's applied to your account. If you go to the Payment Details page [paygonline.com] in your AT&T Prepaid account, you'll see when any balance you currently have expires.

And even if you make a mistake and a balance expires before your renew date, it's actually fixable. A balance expiration date can be extended another 90 days if you apply a new refill card. Apply a new $50 card and the expiration date will extend 90 days from the date it was applied. I actually made this mistake last year (had a balance that was set to expire before being used for renewal), and I worked around it by just applying small-value cards every few months.
I usually order six 50$ cards in 6 separate orders to get 5$ off each.

Looks like a flat $2.44 fee on the $50 T-Mobile card regardless of address? Isn't it supposed to be dependent on state and city?

Since you'll be buying the $50 cards, you are looking at 90-day expiration, as stated under Specifications. Just make sure that the expiration date is AFTER your annual renewal date and you should be fine.
Thanks, that helps.

I saw that Target usually runs this sale every 7-8 weeks, and going by that, one should be coming up in late Dec. Maybe I can risk it Smilie

I've been doing this for years and I have always order at least 10 so I don't think there is a limit.

Hmm, to stock up now or wait and see if it's any cheaper around BF, that is the question.
Assuming you have a Red Card, this nets out at $42.75 (14.5% off). The best I've ever seen is Kroger selling them at 15% off, with the 4x Fuel Points promo active, but I haven't seen that offered for several years (Kroger has generally been offering 12-13% on these cards more recently).

I don't think there's a huge risk in waiting, as Target generally runs this promo about every other month, but I'd be surprised if you found another deal meaningfully better.

If you have a Discover card and you're in your first year of having the card, you get double cash back on all purchases in the first year. Target is a Q4 5% cashback category. So you get 10% back when you include the second 5% cashback you will get at the end of your first Discover year.
$50 - $5 = $45 x .90 = $40.50 (19.0% off).

The 90-day clock starts once you add them to your AT&T account balance. Prior to that, you can sit on them as long as you like. My kid is in the $300 deal that renews in Nov. I purchased the Target cards (email) back in May. Just loaded them on my account last weekend… no issues.

Seen people complain about orders being cancelled before, but I have never had a problem. Not sure if it's a Target thing or perhaps their credit cards are complaining about the multiple, identical purchases.

Generally I order separately to maximize the discount and buy enough cards to get me a year's amount of service. I have a spouse on Verizon's prepaid plan… $25 per month after loyalty discount and enabling auto-pay. Factoring in this target discount, I'm only paying $22.50 per month, and no taxes.

Last time Kroger offered this was last March. I guess I could have missed it?
