I'm too tired to think this out, so what is the minimal buy-and-get-out with a phone on this?

Can you confirm that the pay off price will be $36? Usually on device payment plans you get a monthly credit and have to pay off the remaining retail balance to cancel. I don't see a monthly credit so I'm guessing this might be different but wanted to double check first.

Why would you pay for 60 days service and activation... instead of 3 days and no activation?

Unlocking happens either way in 60 days.

If I activate here in US and then take phone to India and keep on Wi-Fi only, will it unlock automatically ? Also will this phone work in India ?
Yes, it will work but only after unlock period of 60 day until then you have to use on WiFi. Verizon phone doesn't require phone to be in USA for unlock . They can be anywhere . Just need to make sure to put non-verizon sim on 61st day and should be good.

Really depends on the rate plan. If it requires the highest tier plan, "bye Felicia"!
Exactly Tracfone A53 deal was better even without coupon it came with 1 year unlimited talk/text/24GB. Why would credit check for $100 phone lol

Thanks. Also do you know if this phone is restricted in terms of bands. I know verizon iphone is universal, not sure about Samsung or android phones. TIA.

How does the performance compares to OnePlus 8. My OP8 is still snappy and has 8Gb RAM. Camera system also feels pretty decent with Gcam.
$36 is a great price given this will receive android 16 and additional year of security updates. What bums me is 6gb RAM. I have not used a device with low RAM in past 5-6 years and if I use this am daily driver I will be stuck with this for another 3 years with low RAM.
I do play PPSSPP EMULATOR and Game pass on my OnePlus 8. Really appreciate some feedback here.
A53 uses Exynos 1280 (2022) its still slower One Plus 8s Snapdragon 865 5G from (2020)

I don't understand these phone deals. Are you saying I get the phone for 39? After I get service and cancel. Then move to say mint after 3 months?

Yes, the processor and RAM is an absolute bottleneck for A53 and that's why OP8 feels so snappy.
Things that excites me are software update, micro SD expansion, and insane $36 price but I don't want to get stuck with a bad performing phone for 3 years. OP8 is ending their support this year. I am tempted especially because of pricing

Hope you can answer my question and others have same question too. Do I have to pay activation fee + $65 for 1st month's charge when I activate the phone? Will Verizon refund prorated fee based on when I cancel?

Thank You! Going to take a gamble, and get one. I will be back to USA during 60 day period and leave phone in India for parents to use. Hopefully I can score 2 and deal is not limited to just 1

Anyone know if this is deal is limited to just 1 phone or I can buy 2 phones? Not a Verizon subscriber and do not have an account with them.

If you cancel within 3 days of activation. You will not be charged for activation fee. Only the service fee and taxes for 3 days based one your monthly rate. I have did this few times.

You can cancel via chat correct? I think I read that in this thread you can.

Does anyone know if there is an early termination fee if we pay off and cancel the line within three days of activation.
