I have this and the gas piston was done after 6 months. Head rest is flimsy and lumbar is not very good. I'm only buying chairs after I try them
In person from now on.

i do not recommend a 3 panel mesh like OP.

I would recommend checking out Staples or local office furniture stores and buying something there after trying it. Or even just use that to try out chairs then buy locally on Facebook marketplace, eBay, etc. Steelcase Amia for instance can be had for $100-$300 second hand.

Looks built better than 80% of the chairs in this price bracket. The lower part below the seat looks similar to the 250$ full mesh chair I have from 4 years ago (wayfair used to carry good stuff back then).
Full mesh is must for me during the summer days lol.

I don't think you can do better for full mesh under 160$ and monoprice is a far more reputable brand than most of the other budget chairs.

I do agree that the Staples mesh chairs by Union & Staple are excellent quality for a similar price. My blue Dexley model from early 2021 was I think about $135 on sale and is still great almost 3 years later. However - if you can get Monoprice's warranty on this particular chair, you can't go wrong.
