Agree. 4TB for $200 is 2TB ($100)X2 which is reasonable price. $200 would be my price point to buy, if it gets there.
It will get there the way prices have been dropping. We have a tough economic times ahead. I say give it 3-4 months or the next gen of memory comes out. That said, I didn't think the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB would drop down to $100 this fast and picked one up as that's my price point.

Amazon has 2TB Samsung 990 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive SSD (MZ-V9P2T0B/AM) on sale for $139.99 - $40 when you 'clip' the coupon on the product page = $99.99
15% cash back offer on your freedom if you have it, shop through chase with freedom for another 4%, and then use paypal for 5% with this quarter's bonus. Well if they all stack right? Too bad the 2TB isn't $99 like it is on amazon.
Mark my words, we will see the price of these flagship 4TB drives dive even further.
With that been said, the price is not bad if you absolutely need it now.
I hope you're right. It's not a given as the memory cartel has cut production across the board. Only the Chinese don't care but tariffs kill their value quotient. SSD prices seem to be like stock prices. Hard to time the market.

Chase Offers has 15% back offer up to $38. Some reported 20% back.
Would bring this down to close to $200.
