It ends and you use another 3 month sim. Port your number to google voice, get a fake new number with this sim and forward your calls to this new number from google voice. Rinse and repeat every new sim and you will be able to take advantage of ANY prepaid deal promotion from any prepaid carrier forever

On that phone, can I use both its "native" number and the Google Voice number to make/receive calls and texts? (From your and others comments, I understand that some institutions may somehow detect that my number is a Google Voice number and then, therefore, not use it.)

Dang I jusst bought the 3 months for $45 on the Mint website a couple weeks ago. Guess I should have waited

The service is really good in my area. At my home, I get good signal 5G. Speedtests over 1,000 Mb. Faster than my home internet lol

If anyone is interested my work phone is TMO and my personal phone is Mint. Both are iPhone 13s. Typically I get faster speed checks on my Mint phone in the middle of DC and suburban MD than on my TMO (usually from 1-1.5x). Since I'm a fed the TMO service could have all kinds of throttles or built in security.
As for bad customer service…I had one botched transfer but they fixed it quickly. But otherwise their customer service is as good as any of the big companies. Although in my limited experience VZN tech support was brilliant.

Textnow offers 2GB 5G with unlimited calls and text for $10 (if you get their SIM). It's the way to go for the cheapest and fastest network (also uses the tmobile network). If you go over the 2GB they don't cut you off you just get really slow data. It's also amazing for international travel because you can get a dirt cheap international data plan and still get texts and voice (it's like Google voice through the app, works as long as you have data available).

Right, and you can get an additional 3 months free for a total of 6 months @ $5.00 a month if you buy this card and wait to activate when mint runs the b3g3 promotion by the end of this year. Your sim will get the promotion as well

According to historical data, until the date on the card says to activate by which is usually at least a year out.
