It ends and you use another 3 month sim. Port your number to google voice, get a fake new number with this sim and forward your calls to this new number from google voice. Rinse and repeat every new sim and you will be able to take advantage of ANY prepaid deal promotion from any prepaid carrier forever

The TMobile's technical support expiry date. All TMO and their mvnos have an ~2 year activate by date. If you buy a sim directly from Mint it will have the same date but you only have 45 days to activate it.

My year of prepaid is ending. Is there a way to do this without google voice? Such as accept a new number on the sim. How does their system tell if Im a new customer?

Getting a new number should do it. A few years back, Mint actively enforced an IMEI check but that was short-lived as far as I know. I've always been a serial new customer, sometimes concurrently on multiple phones.

The one Target shipped to me says I have to activate it within 45 days of purchase. Do the ones in store say something different? I had hoped to get this and use it now and maybe grab another to use when my other phone service is up in about 4 months. Anyone know?

No, they all say 45 days. The Best Buy and Target-purchased kits are unofficial loopholes/hacks since (so far) Mint can't track the purchase date.

FYI those who prefer to go B&M:
1. Be careful- some are 4G instead of 5G- prominently displayed.
2. Stores often have more in the back. I saw one store had all in the back \ zero on display.
One store that ran out last week has since restocked according to Target app.
Some stores chose not to carry- listed as Unavailable.
3. If buying multiples pay separately for each transaction- only one gift card issued at a time.
You receive it immediately btw.
4. Issued gift card can be used immediately and even by a logged in different Target account.
And it works for buying additional lines.
You'll always have one left over gift card at the end.
