I'd love to keep using my phone for 7 years. There are little to no features being released in new phones that most people care about, tap to pay was literally the last significant change in phones, it's mostly all software changes/modifications in cameras at this point.
I'm 3 years into a perfectly good pixel 5 and have no reason to upgrade. Unless I want to go to the trouble of moving to another OS that will continue to have security updates, google has planned my obsolescence for me as my perfectly good device will now begin to have security vulnerabilities since it got its last software update this month. I may go to the trouble but understand most others will not.

Their trading values doesn't make sense, they're offering more for Pixel 6A then OnePlus 10t that's on sale right now for $300 and is a much better phone than this pixel, let alone 6a
